Step 01

Copies https://bankbridge.money/api/mcp, opens the connector dialog in a new tab.

We’ll copy the MCP URL to your clipboard and open Claude’s Add custom connector dialog in a new tab. Paste into the URL field, leave Advanced settings empty, click Connect.

Step 02

Sign in to BankBridge.

Claude redirects you to BankBridge. Sign in with your magic link, click Allow, and you’re bounced back with the connector enabled.

Step 03

Ask anything.

Start a new chat, toggle BankBridge on, ask:

One connector, every Claude surface

Custom connectors sync across claude.ai web, Claude Desktop, Claude iOS/Android, and Claude Cowork. One authorization, everywhere. The 19 plugin slash-commands also appear under the + button in the chat input bar on mobile and desktop.

Leave Advanced settings empty — Claude auto-discovers our OAuth endpoints.

Revoking access

Every OAuth authorization mints a scoped key visible in Settings (labeled OAuth: Claude). Delete it there to revoke immediately — or remove the connector from Claude’s settings.

Troubleshooting

Tools authorize but don't fire.

Known Claude-side issue where the Bearer token isn’t attached to the first few MCP calls after authorizing. See claude-code#46140.

Fix: Remove + re-add the connector. Usually clears it.

403 Forbidden.

Your BankBridge subscription is inactive (canceled or past-due), or your account has no connected banks.

Fix: Visit Settings to confirm your subscription is active.

Tools return a NO_CONNECTIONS warning.

You haven't linked a bank yet.

Fix: Visit Connect a bank — the bank-connect flow opens automatically, ~30 seconds.

Tools return REAUTH_REQUIRED.

Your bank requires re-authorization (happens every 90 days at most institutions).

Fix: Visit the dashboard. The affected bank will have a Reconnect button.
