Groceries bleed into multiple merchants (Whole Foods, Instacart, Kroger, farmers' markets) and sometimes show up as general merchandise at Walmart-type stores. Your agent uses list\_transactions filtered by category FOOD\_AND\_DRINK, then optionally slices by delivery vs in-person.

## How the agent answers this

Your agent calls `list_transactions + get_spending_summary`.

Category-filter works well; follow up with a merchant breakdown if you want to see how much went to Instacart specifically.
