Employer direct deposits show up as INCOME\_WAGES. Your agent aggregates list\_transactions filtered to that category and summarizes: YTD total, pay cadence, and any changes in deposit amount (raise, bonus, or missing pay).

Works best if all paychecks come to the same account; LLC owners paying themselves via Gusto will see end-of-month timing quirks (see our CLAUDE.md note on Gusto's pay timing).
