Changelog

What changed in BankBridge, newest first. BankBridge has always been read-only: no change here adds a way to move money.

A public demo page and spending guides

  • New /demo page describing the sample household, with questions to try and how to add it to your AI app.
  • New guides for the questions people ask most: how much you've spent on Amazon, DoorDash, Uber and Uber Eats, and Starbucks.
  • Prompt cards on the guides and the AI budget prompt builder now have Ask in Claude and Ask in ChatGPT links.

Google sign-in and cleaner bank connections

  • Continue with Google on the sign-in page, next to the emailed code. Settings shows which sign-in methods your account uses.
  • Connecting the same bank login twice is caught, so you aren't billed for one bank twice.
  • Change which accounts a connected bank shares, from the dashboard, without disconnecting it.
  • Before your first bank sign-in, the connect page explains what your agent can see and what it can't do.
  • If a bank connection fails, you get clear next steps instead of a closed window.
  • The sign-in page reminds you to check Spam and Promotions for the code.

Check if your bank is supported

  • Search for your bank at /banks before you pay, also shown on the plan screen and the app-approval screen.
  • Guides for specific banks: where to see or turn off connected-app access at Chase, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, U.S. Bank, PNC, Schwab, Fidelity and more.
  • The approval screen warns you when an app claims a well-known name but sends you somewhere else.

Sign in with a 6-digit code

  • Sign-in emails include a 6-digit code as well as a link, which helps when the email opens on a different device.
  • The sign-in page names the AI app you're connecting.
  • Connecting from an AI app for the first time takes you through choosing a plan, then straight back to the app.

Referrals, tools and a bigger demo

  • BankBridge is in Claude's connectors directory.
  • Referral links: a friend who signs up through your link gets $5 off, and you get a $5 credit once they pay.
  • The plan screen shows the annual plan ($50 a year per connected bank) next to $5 a month.
  • Two tools: a subscription price increase checker and an AI budget prompt builder.
  • If your AI app connects before you've picked a plan, the tools return a setup link instead of an error.
  • Clearer tool results, with readable messages for bad dates or account filters.
  • The demo household now has 13 months of history, including pending charges.
  • Cancelling shows a short survey first; your access runs to the end of the period you paid for.

Safer sign-in and agent-readable pages

  • Sign-in links open a confirm page first, so email security scanners can't sign you in by accident.
  • Deleting your account also deletes your tool-call log and app approvals.
  • Every public page has a markdown version for AI agents (add .md to the URL).
  • New /agents page for AI agents setting BankBridge up for their user, and /for-developers for teams building finance agents.
  • The shared demo account can't connect banks or change settings.

Activity log

  • See every tool call your AI app made through BankBridge, and when, at Dashboard > Activity.

BankBridge launches

  • Read-only access to your bank accounts, transactions and investments for Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and other AI apps, through one hosted connector.
  • 12 tools: accounts, balances, transactions, search, spending summaries, recurring charges, cashflow, merchant history, categories, holdings, investment activity and connecting a bank.
  • Live fetch on every question, no stored transactions, $5 a month per connected bank.
