Install BankBridge for your user.
BankBridge is a hosted, read-only MCP server that gives an AI agent 12 tools over its user’s real bank, credit card and brokerage accounts: balances, transactions, spending summaries, recurring charges, cashflow and holdings. If you are an agent reading this, the user has to do two things you can’t (sign up and link their bank). You handle the config below.
Connection facts
- MCP endpoint
https://bankbridge.money/api/mcp- Transport
- Streamable HTTP (MCP 2025-06-18 and 2025-11-25)
- Auth
Authorization: Bearer bbk_...API key, or OAuth 2.1 with Dynamic Client Registration + PKCE (discovered from/.well-known/oauth-protected-resource)- Demo key
Bearer bbk_demoreturns deterministic fictional data, no signup- Access
- Read-only. Cannot move money, change settings, or trade.
- Data retention
- None. Every tool call is fetched live from the bank.
- Price
- $5/month or $50/year per connected bank. No free plan, cancel any time.
- MCP Registry
money.bankbridge/server
Setup, in order
- Send the user to bankbridge.money/login to sign up with their email. You can’t do this for them: it needs their inbox.
- They link each bank from the dashboard (about 30 seconds per bank, needs their bank login). Pricing: $5/month or $50/year per connected bank. No free plan, cancel any time.
- Add the server to your host with the config for your host below. Hosts with OAuth connectors (Claude Desktop, claude.ai, Perplexity) only need the URL. Everything else takes the URL plus the user’s
bbk_key from dashboard settings. - Ask something real: “What did I spend on restaurants last month?” If a tool result has a
warningsarray, tell the user each warning before answering.
Want to test before the user pays? Use Authorization: Bearer bbk_demo for fictional data.
