The short version
Truthifi started as a portfolio monitoring service (it watches your investment accounts for fees, risk and errors) and added Truthifi Connect so AI apps like Claude and ChatGPT can read the same accounts. Access is metered in data credits with daily and monthly limits, and its free tier stops hard at the limit.
BankBridge is only the AI connector. You pay per connected bank, and inside that you can ask as many questions as you like: every answer is fetched from the bank at that moment, and nothing is stored. There's no budget of calls to watch.

Where Truthifi is better
- A free tier. Truthifi Connect has a free plan with 5 connections and 25 data credits a month. BankBridge has a demo with made-up data but no free plan for your own accounts.
- Many accounts for one price. Pro covers 8 connections for $5.99 a month and Max is unlimited, so with several institutions Truthifi costs less than BankBridge's $5 per bank.
- Portfolio monitoring. Truthifi's paid monitoring plans watch your investment accounts around the clock for 100+ signals. BankBridge only answers when you ask.
Where BankBridge is better
- No meter on your questions. Truthifi meters AI access in data credits (20 a day and 75 a month on Pro), and its pages don't say how many credits a question uses. BankBridge has no daily or monthly caps, so a long money review in Claude costs the same as one question.
- Built around everyday spending. BankBridge's tools are made for checking, cards and spending questions (recurring charges, monthly cashflow, merchant history) as well as holdings. Truthifi's product is centered on investments.
- Live, and nothing kept. Each BankBridge answer is fetched from your bank when you ask, and no transactions, balances or holdings are stored. Truthifi's public pages don't say how often data refreshes or what is stored.
- One click in Claude. BankBridge is in Claude's connector directory: click Connect, sign in, Allow. Setup guides cover ChatGPT, Cursor and 25+ other apps.
Which one to pick
Pick Truthifi if you mainly care about investment accounts, you have many institutions and want one flat price, or you only need a few AI lookups a month and want them free.
