Connect Fidelity to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor

Yes, Fidelity works with BankBridge. You sign in on Fidelity’s own site and approve read-only access, and then Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor can answer questions about your brokerage, retirement and cash management accounts. Nothing it connects can move money, and you can turn access off from inside Fidelity at any time.

How to connect Fidelity

  1. Sign in at bankbridge.money with your email (we send a 6-digit code) and pick a plan: $5 a month or $50 a year per bank.
  2. Choose Connect a bank, search for Fidelity, and sign in on Fidelity’s own screen. Pick which accounts to share.
  3. Add BankBridge to your AI app: one click in Claude, or follow the setup for ChatGPT, Cursor and others.
  4. Ask something like “What's my asset allocation across my Fidelity accounts right now?”

How Fidelity handles the sign-in

Fidelity says apps connected through Fidelity Access send you to Fidelity, where you authorize the accounts you pick, and you never give the app your Fidelity username and password.

See or turn off access from inside Fidelity

Fidelity calls it the data sharing dashboard. It lists the apps connected through Fidelity Access and lets you remove them.

Fidelity's public pages name the dashboard but don't publish the exact menu path to it.

You can also disconnect Fidelity from your BankBridge dashboard, which removes the connection right away.

Questions

Does BankBridge work with Fidelity?

Yes. Fidelity connects through a sign-in on Fidelity's own site, and BankBridge can read your brokerage, retirement and cash management accounts.

Does BankBridge or the AI get my Fidelity password?

No. You sign in with Fidelity directly and approve read-only access. BankBridge receives an access token, never your password, and Claude or ChatGPT only ever sees the answers to the questions you ask.

How do I turn off access from inside Fidelity?

Fidelity calls it the data sharing dashboard. It lists the apps connected through Fidelity Access and lets you remove them. You can also disconnect the bank from your BankBridge dashboard at any time.

Can it move money or make payments?

No. BankBridge is read-only by design. Its tools can list balances, transactions, recurring charges and holdings, but none of them can move money, pay bills or place trades.
